Recognize that God loves you and created you with a purpose.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16

Be honest with yourself and God about your mistakes and your need for His forgiveness.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23

Trust that Jesus died for your sins, rose again, and offers you eternal life.
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9

Repent—turn away from sin and toward God’s plan for your life.
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” – Acts 3:19

Accept Jesus as your Savior. Salvation is God’s free gift to you—it can’t be earned.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9

Commit to living for Jesus by reading the Bible, praying, and growing in your faith within a church community.
“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” – Luke 9:23
